What Teen Patti Is — and Why It Works Online

Teen Patti (literally "three cards") is South Asia's most popular card game. It uses a standard 52-card deck and is dealt by one person. Each player gets three cards face-down. • Show (Showdown)

  When only two players remain, either player can call a Show. Both players reveal their cards. The stronger hand wins the entire pot. If hands are equal, the player who called the Show loses.

• Sideshow

  A Seen player can request a private comparison (Sideshow) with the previous Seen player. If accepted, the weaker hand folds. The other player may decline; the game continues normally if declined.
